2012 SDMGMA Third Party Payer Day
September 11, 2012, Cedar Shore Resort, Chamberlain
 
The South Dakota Medical Group Management Association is hosting its 5th Annual Third Party Payer and TPA Day on Tuesday, September 11, at Cedar Shore Resort in Chamberlain.  This program has been very well received with attendees from clinics across the state.
 
The goal is to bring together clinic staff members who are involved in the billing/claims/credentialing processes and representatives of the major payers and TPA's to share ideas on making processes and communication more efficient for all parties and to offer opportunities for networking between payer and clinic staff.
 
Please download the registration form and agenda that lists the payers who have been in contact to date and those we are still waiting to hear back from.  Please note on the form that if you need a hotel room, the block of rooms deadline is August 10.  We encourage you to share this information with other staff and colleagues.
 
Darrel Riddle and the planning committee are currently working on the agenda and finalizing the presenters.  Once the agenda is finalized, we will blast e-mail everyone.  They ask that the registration form be sent at this time so you can put this date on your schedules and start the registration process.
 
The day will begin with registration and a continental breakfast from 9:30 – 10:00 am (CT) to allow travelers more time to arrive and presentations will continue through the day until 4:00 pm (CT). Lunch will be provided.
 
Please make special note there is a second page to the attachment that the planning committee would like to you complete and return with any specific areas you want the payers to address or questions you would like to have answered so this can be given to the payers to help them structure their presentations.  Note there will be a $25 drawing for those who submit questions.
